Como cada año, el IES Peñalba celebra el Día de la Paz. Los alumnos, a través de las tutorías, ha estado realizando actividades y talleres relacionados la Paz.

Los grupos de 1ºESO han realizado unos murales con palomas de la paz y textos con la palabra paz en diferentes idiomas.

En 2ºESO se realizaron las grullas de la paz, símbolo de la paz en Japón que es equivalente a la paloma en Europa.

Los alumnos de 3ºESO seleccionaron canciones de paz para escucharlas durante el recreo y también realizadon murales con frases de paz.

The students of 3rd and 4th of ESO went yesterday, 20th of January, to watch an English play, Pygmalion by G. Bernard Shaw.

It was difficult at the beginning because there weren’t any subtitles, but as actors made it so visual and attractive that the final result was good and interesting, and it gave the students the opportunity to appreciate English language in its natural environment.

After the play we went to the Palace of the Infantado, where we learnt a little about its history and characteristics. We also made a quiz to find different items in the museum.
