VISIT TO THE THEATRE

The students of 3rd and 4th of ESO went yesterday, 20th of January, to watch an English play, Pygmalion by G. Bernard Shaw.

It was difficult at the beginning because there weren’t any subtitles, but as actors made it so visual and attractive that the final result was good and interesting, and it gave the students the opportunity to appreciate English language in its natural environment.

After the play we went to the Palace of the Infantado, where we learnt a little about its history and characteristics. We also made a quiz to find different items in the museum.

Besides, we visited its garden that is awesome because it has a natural maze and we spent a nice time there.

El 20 de enero los estudiantes de 3º y 4º fuimos a ver la obra en inglés Pygmalion de G. Bernard Shaw.

Al principio era difícil porque no tenía subtítulos pero los actores lo hicieron tan visual y atractivo que el resultado final fue positivo e interesante y dio a los alumnos la oportunidad de valorar el idioma inglés en su entorno natural.

Después de la obra fuimos al Palacio de Infantado, donde aprendimos un poco sobre su historia y características. También hicimos un concurso para encontrar diferentes objetos en su museo.

Además visitamos su jardín que es genial porque tiene un laberinto natural y pasamos un rato muy agradable.
